Project TERMINUS
Strengthens the ability of law enforcement and border security agencies to detect and interdict the illicit international travel of foreign terrorist fighters.
Over the first decade plus, INTERPOL Washington, the United States National Central Bureau, has worked tirelessly to expand access to INTERPOL's I-24/7 secure, global police-to-police communications system among our partner nations. Known as Project TERMINUS, this initiative seeks to identify, evaluate, and remediate information-sharing gaps that are impeding the ability of the partner countries' law enforcement and border security authorities to detect and deter the illicit international travel of foreign terrorist fighters. INTERPOL Washington is pleased with the success of Project TERMINUS among ASEAN partner nations.
