Project TERMINUS Milestones

* In collaboration with Caribbean Community’s (CARICOM) Implementation Agency for Crime and Security, Project TERMINUS provided essential traveler vetting support for the 2024 International Cricket Council Men's T20 World Cup.

Approximately 2,600 individuals were vetted using a TERMINUS INTERPOL traveler screening application.

Submissions were received from the following countries: India, Dominican Republic, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Bangladesh, United Kingdom, Nepal, Barbados, Guyana, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua, Jamaica, Tunisia, Ireland, Netherlands, Namibia, and the United States.

* During this three-week support period, the Project TERMINUS Analyst identified several critical results for CARICOM's consideration:

One Known or Suspected Terrorist: one individual (involved in Terrorism-Related Crimes, Forgery, Terrorism Financing, Acts of Terrorism, and as a member of a Terrorism Group)

Ten matches related to criminal activities (including Fraud, Drug-related offenses, Human Trafficking, and Child Sexual Assault)

75 matches involving Stolen and Lost Travel Documents.

* INTERPOL Record Management: Leveraging a Project TERMINUS staff assistance, Barbados leveraged a TERMINUS software solution to create 41 SLTD records in the INTERPOL database.

* INTERPOL Washington's Project TERMINUS deployed advanced technology and software and hardware solutions in Trinidad and Tobago, significantly boosting the island nation's capabilities to detect and intercept transnational criminals and terrorists. ​
​INTERPOL Record Management:

Using the Project TERMINUS SLTD Workbench software solution, Trinidad and Tobago created 3,812 SLTD records in the INTERPOL database and extended 3,544 SLTD records preventing their deletion due to the INTERPOL RPD.

Using the Project TERMINUS SMV Workbench software application, Trinidad and Tobago created 372 Stolen Motor Vehicle records in the INTERPOL database.
* INTERPOL Connectivity: Project TERMINUS connected Belize Immigration directly to INTERPOL, allowing the country to include global INTERPOL wanted person and SLTD data in their traveler screening process.

*Global Security Impact through Indirect Capability and Capacity Building using Project TERMINUS Software Applications:

Philippines - In 2024, using Project TERMINUS SLTD Workbench application, the Philippines extended 2,137 SLTD Records preventing their deletion as a result of the INTERPOL RPD.

Mexico - In 2024, using Project TERMINUS SLTD Workbench application, Mexico extended 24,751 SLTD Records preventing their deletion as a result of the INTERPOL RPD.

Ethiopia - In 2024, using Project TERMINUS SLTD Workbench application, Ethiopia extended 4,655 SLTD Records preventing their deletion as a result of the INTERPOL RPD.
